Strategic Project for the Year
2008 - 2009
The AUICK program for 2008-2009
aims to increase regional capacity to conduct analyses of migration and
urbanization trends and the implications for development planning,
through a series of research, training and information exchange
activities. This will facilitate the effective incorporation of
population issues into the development agendas of Asian local
administrators and planners of the nine selected medium-sized cities (AACs),
to be composed of the same cities as the program for the years
2004-2007.
