D. The Future of AUICK

AUICK can consider shifting from a two-year to a three-year cycle, with one year of survey followed by two years of in-depth studies.

AUICK can establish long term relations with a limited set of cities, one in each country, to enable it to focus both research and training activities more effectively, and to integrate training with research more effectively.

AUICK can develop a data base of urban projects from the experiences of Asian urban administrators. This data base would show others what kinds of projects work and what do not work, under specific conditions, in addressing urban problems.
