1. Information gathering cycles

AUICK should move from a two-year to a three-year cycle. The current 1996-7 Fourth Round Inquiry can now be followed by two years of in-depth studies. For 1997 a focus on Population and Housing is appropriate, and for 1998 a study of Population and Environment in the Urban Areas would be useful.
